I was lost, but now I'm found

Hey, strangers!

Yes, I am still alive and kicking... and screaming.

It's been a rough nearly year for me, and it forced me to step back from being so "public". As some of you know may know, my sister passed away in December. The loss has weighed heavy on me. A day doesn't pass where she isn't on my mind.

Then, I had to wrap up the STAYCATION series with HOMECOMING. Setting aside my grief, I ended the Miller saga exactly as I intended to, and I am proud of how the book turned out. Have you read it yet? Post a review!

Now, I am back in school, working my way through a MA/MFA program, one step on the road to fulfilling my dream of becoming an English professor. Fingers crossed. The first week was... rough. It's been ages since I've been in a classroom. I'm sure it will all come back to me (I hope).

I'm turning in my next TWISTED TALES entry for an early January release, so keep your eyes peeled!

I will do my best to post more often and get back to sharing my weekly 100-word stories. I've been lax what with the world on fire.
