This is not a drill!
I repeat:
THIS IS NOT A DRILL!
The time has come to reveal the title of my debut novel. Awww, yeah! Chick a bow wow. Shake your bon bon.
When I began writing it, I had called my coming-of-age story 'All the Magic Left in the World,' a title I still reference in the final draft, set to be published in October 2020.
By the second draft, the manuscript had been retitled 'The Belles of St. Mary's.' After all, my great uncle, Stanley 'Stash' Clements, was in 'Going My Way' starring Bing Crosby, who had previously played Fr. O'Malley in, you guessed it... 'The Bells of St. Mary's.'
Finally, after much pondering and debate, the manuscript became—
FAR FROM GRACE
I'm very happy with the final product—and title—and can't wait to share it with you and get your thoughts next year!
Coming from Literary Wanderlust next year!
Stay tuned for more updates.
See you on the other side.
